Salary: $24-$30 per hour, DOE

Position: Accounts Payable Coordinator
Type: Full-Time, Evaluation to Hire
Location: Edmonds
Pay: $24-$30 per hour, DOE
Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:00 PM or 8:00 AM-4:30 PM

Responsibilities:

- Identify vendors, subs to be paid on a timely basis, create checks, mail and file paperwork
- Receive call for Purchase Orders; Enter Purchase Orders into Timberline
- Attach invoices to PO's in Job Cost & route to appropriate individuals.
- Enter invoices in AP, route for approval of payment
- Prioritize invoices according to cash discount potential and payment terms
- Sort and distribute incoming mail
- Enter subcontractor information; distribute and receive sub packets and certs of insurance
- Match invoices to subcontractors, purchase orders, etc. Resolve vendor discrepancies
- Reconcile vendor and credit card statements
- Assist in month end closing & weekly check runs
- 1099 maintenance

Qualifications/Requirements:
- 5+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, preferably within the construction or remodeling industry, or related field OR experience using Timberline Construction Software and/or Sage 300 experience.
- Bookkeeping and accounting experience required, as well as proficiency
- Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, Excel
- Excellent time management
