Job Description:

Kumo Intelligent Tooling organization is seeking an experienced engineer to join our team and help deliver cutting-edge technology solutions that empower AWS customers and support teams. As part of this dynamic organization, you will contribute directly to enhancing the customer experience by developing innovative products and platforms that intelligently anticipate and resolve complex AWS needs.
In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and UX designers, to deliver results in a fast-paced environment. Your projects will span the entire lifecycle, from inception to deployment, as you help drive the continuous evolution of Kumo's technology to meet the evolving needs of AWS customers.
Additionally, you will be working on cutting-edge technology for generative AI (GenAI) projects to solve complex customer problems. Design and develop robust, scalable solutions built on native AWS technologies to streamline cloud adoption, optimization, and operations for customers of all sizes.
Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including product managers and UX designers, to deeply understand customer pain points and translate them into innovative product features.
Drive projects from ideation to delivery, demonstrating strong ownership and a commitment to quality.
Work closely with product managers, software development managers, and UX designers/researchers to identify customer needs and translate them into impactful product features.
Collaborate with and mentor junior members of the engineering team to share knowledge and best practices.

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.
3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Bachelor's degree, or CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional)
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
