Job Description Summary
As Clinical Specialist, you will execute the Medication Delivery Solutions value-added clinical business strategy. You will implement clinical programs and initiatives that differentiate the MDS product portfolio based on improved clinical outcomes and process enhancements which may result in a lower cost-in-use. Clinical Specialists enhance the credibility of recommendations to customers and strengthens customer service and support. You will actively engage in conversion management, product implementation, and training on Medication Delivery Solutions products.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Collaborates with the Regional T eam to ensure the sales and conversion management process is clinically effective throughout the time line of pre- validation to retention
• Develops strong, working relationships with end- users while providing product in-servicing and clinical education
• Facilitates customer training classes in support of conversion or retention for key customers.
• Collaborates with the Sales T eam in key account management strategy sessions
• Has responsibility f or managing the R egional T eam of per Diem nurses at the account level to provide the highest level of training to our customers
• Train s and mentor s contract nursing staff to consistently help build their clinical skills, while identifying high potential nurses within this group to be considered for the role of Clinical Specialist
• Conducts VAM assessments supporting both Vascular Care and Vascular Access sales bags
• Provides month ly updates to the Clinical Manager on regional training activities and support provided in region (CE courses, assessments, implementations , c ustomer meetings, e tc.) per activities delineated in the Individual Impact Goals. About You:
  • Minimum Registered Nurse with a b achelor's degree
  • Maintains license as a Registered nurse in good standing with the Board of Nursing
  • Five (5) years of general clinical experience, including three (3) years experience specializing in vascular access and ultrasound; BD MDS product experience is preferred.
  • Strong communicator with e ffective verbal and written skills
  • Prov en trainin g skills to conduct e ducation al courses
  • Persuasive and credibl e; able to influence without authority
  • Possesses strong u nderstanding and knowledge of i nfusion therapy , v ascular access and key disease states served by MDS products
  • Travels as needed to conduct initial and ongoing training to maintain accounts in designated region and as assigned
  • Participates in trade shows to pro mote product lines
  • Networks and participates in local, state and national chapter affiliations (i.e. INS, ONS )
  • Reports complaints regarding products and service per BD's company policy
  • Must possess and maintain a valid state-issued driver's license with 3 years of consecutive driving history and meet BD's auto safety standards
  • Ability to travel up to 80%
  • Possesses basic digital literacy including Microsoft Word, Exc el, Power P oint and Outlook
    
    Salary ranges have been implemented to reward associates fairly and competitively, as well as to support recognition of associates' progress, ranging from entry level to experts in their field, and talent mobility. There are many factors, such as location, that contribute to the range displayed. The salary offered to a successful candidate is based on experience, education, skills, and actual work location. Salary ranges may vary for Field-based and Remote roles.
    
    $87,500,00 - $144,400.00 US Dollars
