Job DescriptionAre you a seasoned leader in the world of culinary
arts and hospitality? Do you have a passion for creating
exceptional dining experiences? Fairmont Olympic Hotel is seeking a
dynamic and visionary Director of Food & Beverage to elevate our

Responsibilities: Reporting to the Director of Operations,
responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not
limited to the following:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute strategic plans,
promotions and concepts to enhance the overall food and beverage
operations, aligning with the hotel's objectives while creating our
F&B offerings to be a destination of choice to both hotel and
external local guest.
- Lead F&B Outlets: Lead and drive our 6unique F&B
Outlets and exceptional Banquet Department to continue to deliver
extraordinary service and always strive for unparalleled guest
experience andexcellence.
- Culinary Excellence:Collaborate inthe creation and
implementation of innovative menus and seasonal menus, ensuring
exceptional quality, unique offeringsand guest satisfaction.
- Financial Management: Manage the budget, monitor expenses, and
implement cost-control measures to achieve financial targets.
Ensure effective control of food, beverage, labour and operating
expenses.
- Team Development: Lead and inspire a diverse team, fostering a
culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous
improvement.
- Guest Relations: Build and maintain strong guest relationships,
ensuring an outstanding dining experience.
Qualifications
- Must hold valid authorization to work in the USA.
- Food HandersCardand MAST permit required.
- Previous Food & Beverage experience in a senior leadership role
required.
- Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications
required.
- University/College degree in a related discipline
required.
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.
- Highly responsible & reliable.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced
environment.
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and
courteous at all times.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
